I experience pain
My intestines move and yearn
What happens within?
It's not my turn
I wait in line
Eager and spent
Crane my neck
Try to repent
My feet shuffle forward
Why must I wait?
If I were a bird
I'd release this state
I give it a try
I drop my head
The rags slide down
As if I were dead
But there's no where to go
I suddenly see
What I waited for
Is only to be
I turn and walk
One step at a time
The voices they sing
Like wind in a chime
